Successful wilderness trips don’t just happen. They are the result of careful planning. Please use this trip planning guide to get started. However, we suggest that you also use guidebooks and maps found in bookstores, local libraries, online and at outdoor equipment stores. The expertise of outfitters and guides can also be used when planning a bwcaw trip.

The three videos below are required viewing to enter and adventure in the BWCAW. The first two should be viewed by your entire group prior to arrival, the third is required at the entry point cooperator prior to receiving your permits.
